Spring has sprung! Check out the upcoming events!

Hello everyone,

Spring has sprung, and Sydney’s fetish calendar is looking very full. Our friends across the community have plenty planned, including Dopamine, Haus of Savvy’s Animal Farm, Rubber Bastard’s weekend of activities, The HIDE, UNITY and The Fet Gala. We’re also bringing the excitement of MIR 30 home with our own watch party. There’s plenty to get dressed up for!

Recently, we had the pleasure of welcoming Pusckatt Onyx to Sydney while he was on his way to Fiji. We gathered at Kinselas to say hello and share a drink. We love it when international rubber titleholders visit our city, and we’re always happy to give them a warm Sydney welcome.

Over to Melbourne, who have recently had their annual Slick event, we congratulate Deviant Devices taking on 2026 Melbourne Rubber titleholder! We wish them a fantastic title year and can’t wait to see what they get up to. We also send our love and thanks to outgoing titleholder Kitty Obsidian for representing Melbourne’s rubber community with pride.

Rubber Bastard is taking over the first weekend of October with three days of rubbery fun. There’s the Rubber Bastard Banquet on Friday 2 October, Rubber Bastard 9 on Saturday 3 October and the Rubber Walk on Sunday 4 October. Sydney Rubber will have a shine station at Saturday night’s party, while Rubberly will be joining the Rubber Walk to capture all the style. Polish up, dress up and remember: No Rubber, No Bastard!

The Fet Gala returns to AURA Sydney on Friday 16 October. It’s a brilliant excuse to bring out your most fabulous fetish look and celebrate the creativity, glamour and diversity of Sydney’s kink community. Find tickets and details at fetgala.com.

We’ve also been advised that another WYLD RUBBER is planned for 5 December. Details are still being finalised, so save the date and stay tuned for more information.

Would you like to help shape what Sydney Rubber does next?

We’re looking for people who are loyal to Sydney, love their city and love latex. You don’t need years of committee experience. What matters most is passion, reliability and a genuine desire to help our community thrive.

We’d especially love to hear from women and femme community members who would like to bring their voices and ideas to the committee.

To get involved, send an email to contact@sydneyrubber.com to register your interest.

There’s a lot to look forward to, and we’re delighted to see Sydney’s rubber and fetish calendar looking so lively. Keep an eye on our socials for updates, pull something shiny out of the wardrobe, and we’ll see you out there.

Stay shiny,

Your friendly neighbourhood Sydney Rubber Committee
