Mardi Gras has wrapped up for another year and the glitter is finally starting to settle. If you’re anything like us, you’re probably still recovering from a few big weeks of parties, parades and questionable sleep schedules. Now that Gay Christmas is over, it’s time to look ahead and get on with the rest of 2026.
There’s plenty coming up across the rubber, leather and kink scene over the next couple of months. From play parties to dance floors and our next Sydney Rubber Social, there are lots of chances to get shiny, catch up with friends, and meet some new faces along the way. Our last Rubber Social in February was a great reminder of why we keep doing these. Even though it landed on the same day as Fair Day, plenty of people still made their way over to Kinselas afterwards. It was fantastic to see such a solid turnout, with familiar faces and a few new ones joining the mix. Socials like these are exactly what Sydney Rubber is about. Good company, shiny gear, a drink or two, and a relaxed space for the rubber community to come together.

DVNT x OSS
DVNT are teaming up with Our Secret Spot for a night of kink and play on Friday 20 March. Expect a lively crowd, plenty of opportunities to explore, and the usual DVNT energy in a dedicated play venue.
Our Secret Spot is located in Annandale and is one of Sydney’s best known kink venues with multiple play spaces and a welcoming community vibe.

Pervert
Pervert is on at the Oxford Hotel on Friday 27 March from 8pm. Expect DJs, a packed dance floor and plenty of gear and fetish wear on display.
The Oxford Hotel is located on Oxford Street in Darlinghurst, right in the heart of the city’s queer nightlife.

Saturday 11 April
Rubber Bastard 8
Rubber Bastard is back on Saturday 11 April for another night dedicated entirely to latex lovers. The party brings together Sydney’s rubber crowd and friends for a shiny night of music, gear and community.
Sydney Rubber will once again be supporting the event and helping keep people looking their best throughout the night with our Shine Station.

Eagle Bar Sydney – Australian Leather Competition Afterparty
After the Australian Leather Competition wraps up, the celebration continues at Eagle Bar Sydney. The official afterparty kicks off from 8pm at the Burdekin Hotel and is always a highlight of the leather calendar.
Expect a busy dance floor and plenty of leather, rubber and gear from across the community.

Eagle Bar May
Eagle Bar Sydney has another event lined up for Saturday 9 May. Details are still to be announced, but the Eagle consistently delivers leather and gear friendly dance nights that bring together the wider fetish community.

Our next Rubber Social lands on Sunday 10 May from 4pm at Kinselas in Darlinghurst. These casual meetups are the perfect place to catch up with friends, meet new rubber enthusiasts, and relax with a drink after the weekend.
